A fine, traditional British made Ray Iles "Mike Abbott" Drawknife with beech flared handles that are slightly bent backwards.
The result is the handles are at approximately the same angle, whether you are using it back down or canal down.
The blade is made from 01 high carbon tool steel, which are individually oil hardened, and tempered to approximately 60 RC.
Traditionally this is the most common sized drawknife.
