Each Ashley Iles "Ray Gonzalez" short hooked skew carving tool is fitted with a beech "carver" handle and is provided sharp, ready for use.

While exhibiting at a wood fair, members of a whole carving club one-by-one appeared through the course of the show and each bought one of these types of tool as the word spread as to how useful this tool is.
