Veritas Plane Screwdriver

• The Veritas plane screwdriver was designed to ensure both safety and ease when removing, replacing, or adjusting cap irons.
  
• A regular screwdriver often struggles with cap iron screws. Its narrow blade can damage the screw slot, and there's always the chance that the screwdriver tip will slip out of the slot entirely, this handle little screwdriver makes easy work of plane screws whilst helping to protect the screw from being damaged.
  
• The screwdriver has been made with a turned brass collar around the tip that securely holds the head of a cap iron screw up to 21/32" in diameter, along with a large hardwood knob for a comfortable and firm grip.
  
• The slot-style tip is made from durable alloy steel. While designed for Veritas planes, this handle little tool also fits all standard cap iron screws on both current and vintage Stanley and Record planes, as well as various other models based on them.
