This chisel plane features a full-width exposed blade, allowing you to work directly up to adjacent surfaces with ease. It is especially useful for trimming and refining tight spaces, making it a practical choice for detailed joinery tasks.

It performs well when cleaning up corners and joints inside cabinets or carcasses, where access is limited. The design also makes it well suited for paring cuts in areas where a traditional chisel would be awkward to handle.

The blade can be set flush with the sole, making it ideal for trimming plugs and small inlays level with the surrounding surface without damaging the wood. Its low cutting angle, created by the 15° bed and 20° bevel, helps achieve clean results when working end grain.

For ease of use, the plane includes a thumb wheel for depth adjustment and set screws to help keep the blade aligned. The rear knob fits comfortably in the hand, while the body shape provides a secure grip during use.

Supplied with a lapped O1 steel blade hardened to Rc 58–60. The 20° bevel combined with a 15° bed angle creates a 35° cutting angle, helping to cut end grain cleanly while reducing tear-out.
