• The Robert Sorby Timber Framing Chisel is ideal for chopping deep mortices and heavy duty tasks.
  
• The chisel blade features a beveled edge for increased clearance in the cut and is tapered along its length.
  
• Forged from special Sheffield alloy steel.
• Long blade, ideal for timber framers, boat builders and similar work.
• This chisel is fitted with a heavy duty ash handle, leather washer, and two hoops. One of the hoops is fitted to striking end of chisel handle to prevent splitting out.
• The Robert Sorby name has been making tools since the early 1800's with the Sorby name having links as cutlers back to the 1600's.
