A British made replacement cutting iron constructed from Carbon steel thicker iron (01). This blade is approximately 50% thicker than original equivalent plane blades.
Plane blade suitable for:
- Some earlier Stanley 5 1/2 Planes
- Some earlier Record 05 1/2 Planes
Important: Please check the width of your plane / current plane blade.
Note: The majority of Stanley 5 1/2 planes and Record 05 1/2 planes are fitted with a 2 3/8 Inch blade not this narrower 2 1/4" blade.
