The RS200KT multi-tip hollowing tool is one of Robert Sorby’s most versatile tools. Its massive half round shank and interchangeable tips make it capable of multiple applications. A Robert Sorby legend, this tool is a must-have for every turner’s collection.
The Robert Sorby multi-tip hollowing tool is a handy addition to any tool kit. It comes complete with three replaceable cutters, two for hollowing, one for scraping. Of the two hollowing cutters, the one with the rounded end is designed for general roughing out and will create a flowing curve as in the bottom of a vessel. The more pointed cutter is for fast material removal and also produces a crisp corner in a box.
Blades are forged from HSS Sheffield steel.
The Robert Sorby name has been making tools since the early 1800's with the Sorby name having links as cutlers back to the 1600's.
