Ray Iles produces traditional British-made edge tools, continuing a family legacy that began with his father, Ashley Iles. Trained in forging, handle making and grinding by Sheffield’s little master craftsmen in the 1950s, Ray learned techniques that had been carefully guarded for generations. Tools from the Ray Iles collection includes precision replacement plane blades for vintage planes, along with drawknives, froes, scorps, and green woodworking tools designed for serious Woodworkers.
