Henry Taylor heavy duty socket firmer chisel (Diamic Brand). This heavy duty socket firmer chisel is constructed with a hardwood handle and a steel hoop fitted to the striking end of handle to resist splitting.
The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, then hardness-tested to guarantee edge retention.
The chisel handle can be easiliy replaced if / when required. The socket design also allows users to make and fit their own handles if so desired.

The tools may need very minor final sharpening with a sharpening stone / strop to suit the users needs (as will regularly need to be done through the use of the tools).

These tools are hand forged using traditional techniques (including working by eye) which as a by-product the neck/shoulders may have imperfections but not to the blade cutting face / working area.
