  • The stock has a 45 degree mitre angle at the top of the stock for mitre work.
  • The body is made from solid walnut with its inside edge lined with a 3mm brass plate.
  • Each of these Marples squares have been tested for accuracy two times during the manufacturing process and again just before leaving the factory.

The blade is secured to the stock with ornate diamond shaped brass washers and steel rivets.

The blued steel blade has been tempered.

This try and mitre square is engineered to satisfy the required BS3322 standard.

Each of these squares have been tested for accuracy two times during the manufacturing process and again just before leaving the factory.

These squares have been tested on both the inside and outside faces, with the internal angle being twice as accurate as the British Standard, an accuracy better than 0.01mm/10mm blade length.
