Crown Pro-PM Woodturning Chisels

A fine selection of Crown Tools exclusive new range Pro-PM woodturning tools. These turning tools are advertised by Crown as "the 'elite' of all turning chisels". Each chisel has an advanced Powder Metal blade, and is beautifully finished with a stained black ash handle and brass ferrule.

The advanced Powder Metal blade is constructed with molten steel that has been compressed and sintered to give a cutting edge which lasts four-to-five times that of a conventional High Speed tool. The Pro-PM woodturning tools have a vastly superior wear resistance, superior toughness, excellent grindability, and a high working hardness and a high retention of hardness. Each chisel is hardened to between 66° and 68° Rockwell.
