Our fine chisel showcase consists of a wide selection of traditional woodworking chisels, including: gouges, turning, paring, carving, firmer, and mortice chisels. We are stockists of Henry Taylor Chisels, Robert Sorby, Crown and Ashley Iles.
Henry Taylor Tools established in 1834 have been respected for their Sheffield crafted tools for many decades. The Diamic brand wood turning chisels have been a favourite amongst craftsmen for a century long. The blades are made using the traditional hand-forging method to offer a beautiful shape to the blade and great metallurgical properties.
Robert Sorby - Robert Sorby is one of the longest known running companies of edge tools still operating today with historical links running back to 1624 when the man Robert Sorby first started trading or Robert Soresby as he was known at his time. Robert Sorby are a world renowned Sheffield based company.
Crown Tools are an established Sheffield, England based company whose range of chisels are ever-expanding. Crown produce a number of exclusive ranges and specialist chisels to suit the expert craftsman and enthusiast. Crown products are manufactured from the finest materials by skilled craftsmen and undertake to replace any tool that does not give total satisfaction. All Crowns' products that use rosewood, are plantation grown.
